About The Owner<\/h2>\n

Rachelle DiFonzo, the owner and founder, was born in Council Bluffs, IA and lived in Omaha, NE most of her life. Rachelle\u2019s passions include entertaining, giftology and consumer behavior. She loves spending time with her family, traveling, philanthropy, live music, happy hour, pizza, massages and shopping. Her time is spent being a mommy, wife, entrepreneur and a \u201cBIG\u201d for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Midlands. <\/p>\n

Rachelle graduated with a BSBA from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a major in marketing. She worked as a manager at Sprint for eight years during college, then as a Supply Chain Analyst for ConAgra on the Wal-Mart team for six years. During her time at ConAgra, she also led the ConAgra Women\u2019s Network. She was eventually acquired by Tree House Foods and then laid off December 2018.<\/p>\n

About Details<\/h2>\n

If you could do anything, what would you do? After having a rain cloud of layoffs over her head for six years, and watching it happen to so many, (including her husband), she decided to do something about it. She decided to start her own company. A CELEBRATION COMPANY!!!<\/p>\n

Rachelle founded Details by DiFonzo LLC in 2018, then started working on her company full time January 8th, 2019. Her website and Mobile Gift Boutique officially launched June 20th, 2019. The rest is history!!!<\/p>\n

Being a new entrepreneur and first-time business owner, Rachelle knew she needed help, lots of help. She was accepted as a Fellow for The Startup Collaborative, powered by the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce. This is an on-demand accelerator that radically improves the odds of success for entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs who aim to build a high-growth, software-centric companies in the Midwest. Their methodology helps founders startup, quickly find product-market fit and tackle the early challenges of scale in a way that increases the odds of success and buys down all potential risks associated with starting up and innovation. <\/p>\n

My Team<\/h2>\n

Hey! My name is Rachelle and this is my team. My husband (and accountant) Cliff, our two-nager (and boss) Ella, Moose and Bear. <\/p>\n

Life changes drastically after having a child, but they inspire you to do incredible things. Ella is my everything. She is my inspiration to make others smile, save time and create memories. There is no better reason to slow down, appreciate what I have and celebrate more than being grateful for and present with my family.<\/p>\n

My Story<\/h2>\n

My grandparents were extremely influential my early years as a child. In addition to living with them, they taught me how to sew and make crafts. They showed me how to sell those items and everything that goes along with that. My grandparents gave as much as they could to their church and community. The had many foster children throughout their lifetime. What impacted me most is the volunteering we did together. <\/p>\n

One place we volunteered stands out much more than the others. It was called The Cupboard. This was a place where people on food stamps could get six non-food stamp items every sixty days. Things we all need, toilet paper, diapers, etc.<\/p>\n

Before we would volunteer, my grandparents would take me to garage sales. We would buy hats, mittens, toys and stuffed animals. Then when a family would check out their items at The Cupboard, my job was to give the children a gift we bought. Seeing the remarkable look of pure gratitude in the eyes of these children profoundly affected me. I created that experience. An experience that impacted someone\u2019s life, with little time and little money. I made a positive difference in someone else\u2019s life. <\/p>\n

This is what I am meant to do. Help people communicate their gratitude in a way best received by the recipient. My goal is to use my gifts and events to create unique experiences that turn into memories. It really is the thought that counts. <\/p>\n
